A pool deck you can use — screened, shaded and built for the wind

A screen enclosure is what makes a Central Florida pool usable: it keeps leaves, insects and the worst of the sun off the deck and cuts the cleaning that comes with an open pool. It is also a permitted structure — every enclosure is engineered for the wind load your address requires, and that engineering is what keeps it standing through storm season.

We build new pool cages, screen rooms and covered lanais and rebuild existing ones, and because we are a general contractor the paver deck, the drainage and the structures around the pool are handled under the same contract instead of by three separate trades.

Screen Enclosures

What we handle on a screen enclosure

01

Pool cages

Full-height screen enclosures over the pool and deck — flat, mansard or gable roof — engineered for wind load and anchored to a proper footing.

02

Screen rooms

Screened patios and porches off the house for bug-free outdoor living, with doors sized for daily use.

03

Covered lanais

Solid-roof structures with screened walls — shade and rain cover over the sitting and cooking area, tied into the house correctly.

04

Rebuilds & the deck around it

Replace a tired or storm-damaged enclosure and rebuild the deck, coping and drainage around the pool at the same time.

By Area

Screen Enclosures & Pool Cages by area

Four areas with their own notes and permit offices; every other city in Greater Orlando is covered through the city pages below.

Screen enclosures in Oviedo

Our office is at 1377 Elm St in Oviedo, our home city — a fast-growing community between UCF and the Econlockhatchee River, with Alafaya Woods, Kingsbridge, Twin Rivers, Live Oak Reserve and Oviedo on the Park among the neighborhoods we cover. The City of Oviedo Building Division issues permits inside the city; nearby unincorporated addresses such as Black Hammock and Chuluota go through Seminole County, and we confirm which applies before the engineering is ordered.

Permit authority: Oviedo: City of Oviedo Building Division

Screen enclosures in Winter Park

Winter Park is an affluent, tree-lined Orange County city known for brick streets and lakefront homes — Windsong, Winter Park Pines, Orwin Manor, Olde Winter Park and Kenilworth Shores among them. The City of Winter Park Building Division issues the permit; some areas carry historic-district review, and an enclosure that changes the look of the house from the street in one of those areas can need that review first, so we check the address before the drawings go in.

Screen enclosures in Orlando

Inside the Orlando city limits — College Park, Dr. Phillips, Delaney Park, Audubon Park, Conway — plan review and inspections go through City of Orlando Permitting Services; unincorporated addresses go through Orange County. Baldwin Park and Lake Nona are part of the City of Orlando and permit the same way. We confirm the jurisdiction for your exact address before anything is filed.

Permit authority: Orlando: City of Orlando Permitting Services

Screen enclosures in St. Cloud

St. Cloud is a growing Osceola County city on East Lake Tohopekaliga with newer subdivisions — Anthem Park, Stevens Plantation, Lakeshore, Canoe Creek and the Narcoossee area. The City of St. Cloud Building Division permits inside the city limits; outlying addresses go through Osceola County, and we confirm which applies before the engineering is ordered.

Screen Enclosures FAQ

Common questions

This page covers the enclosure and the structures around the pool — cage, screen room, lanai, deck, coping and drainage. Work on the pool itself (resurfacing, tile, equipment) is covered under the same licence and scoped in the written estimate.
Flat roofs are the most common; mansard and gable roofs add height and headroom over the pool. Roof style, footprint and height drive the engineering and the price.
Many Central Florida communities review enclosures for height, color and screen type, and some planned communities have an architectural review board. We build to your HOA's standards and can help with the approval details before anything is filed.
Yes. We rebuild and refinish decks, coping, screen enclosures, and surrounding structures around an existing pool, coordinated as one project with one point of accountability.
